iPhone 7 Plus screen marred by mysterious crossed lines

iPhone 7 Plus screen seems to have an underlying cross pattern that dissects the screen in four parts. It is visible mostly when the screen is black. These lines seem to be indicative of some underlying structure, however I've not noticed it on other iPhone 7 Plus phones. Is this normal?

Yep, I too have had this same issue.

I took it into the apple store, they cleaned the screen with a microfibre cloth and it went away, genius shrugged and said it's not screen damage as it wipes away.

But yeh, make a call or use the phone and bam, the crosses re-appear.

So thinking there is something sitting under the glass that is putting heat onto that area perhaps?

Might take it back in and see if I can get another genius to do a replacement on it.

I've bought an iPhone 6s two days ago and I started noticing these same crossed lines under the screen. When I clean the phone with a bit of pressure the lines disappear, but after some time they come back. They are not too visible, but I fear they might get worse with time.

Today I went to the Apple Store where I have bought the iPhone and they made the trade for a new device... ok? No... not ok. I was really surprised that, after coming home and playing with the phone a bit, reinstalling apps and such... the lines were there again!

I am starting to think that or I am too unluck, or the batch has a problem... or is this normal for iPhones?

I don't know... this is my first iPhone... and I am seriously starting to think that I should have bought another Samsung phone. At least I've never had this kind of issue with their super AMOLED screens.
