Is Pages 6.0.5 still compatible with Pages ’09?

Specifically:

A. Will it open documents created and saved in Pages ’09?

B. Can Pages ’09 still be used to create documents in Mac OS 10.12 or later?

null-OTHER, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), Pages 5.2

B Yes and still works far better than Pages 6.05
