verification code via SMS

My former phone number is not available and could not receive SMS any more. I do want to change it into a new phone number. Could you tell me where I can change it? I could not download any new apps without finishing the required verification. Thx!

See If you can't sign in with two-step verification using your Apple ID - Apple Support. If you have another trusted device or your recovery key you should be able to add the current device and phone number, then remove the old one.
