My grandson who has an iPhone 5 wants to use my iPhone 7 wireless headphones - will they work with his phone?

Just to be clear, as already stated there are no iPhone 7 Wireless headphones. Those are AirPods and they are sold separately: AirPods - Apple They are compatible with the iPhone 5s. The wired EarPods that come with the iPhone 7 and have a Lightning connector will also work with the iPhone 5s.
iPhone 7 Lightning connector headphone works with anything with anything with a Lighting Connector.
Currently, iPhone 7 doesn't ship with wireless headphones. However, if you own a pair of wireless headphones, they should be compatible with the bluetooth on iPhone 5.
The WIRED headphones that come with the iPhone 7 won't work with iPhone 5 because iPhone 5 uses the 30 pin connector, while the iPhone 7 uses the Lightning adapter.
The iPhone 5 was the first one to use the Lightning connector.

So... Just to be clear that's a "Yes" the iPhone 5S WILL work with the "iPhone 7 WireLess HeadPhones" Correct?
What about the iPhone5 not 5s I have one and every time I put the ear pods in my phone I plays on the outside of
the phone and I have IOS 10.3.3 what do I Do.
