Syncing issues

I have two iPhones on the same apple ID with different phone numbers and the call log keeps syncing. How is this happening and how do I stop it?

Hello athabascan.amber,

I understand you have 2 iPhones signed in with the same Apple ID and the call logs are being synced. I can see the concern and the need to get this resolved and I'd be happy to help.

If you are using the same Apple ID on multiple devices, you should see the same information across all devices. This article should help explain a little better:

Sign in with your Apple ID on a new device
Being signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID is what syncs that information across all devices using that Apple ID. You may want to consider Create and start using an Apple ID for the second iPhone and you can also Set up Family Sharing.

Family Sharing makes it easy for up to six people in your family to share each other’s iTunes, iBooks, and App Store purchases without sharing accounts. Pay for family purchases with the same credit card and approve kids’ spending right from a parent’s device. And share photos, a family calendar, and more to help keep everyone connected.
