iPhone SE bricked after iOS update

I did the latest iOS update on my 4 months old iPhone SE.

Now it randomly switches off to a black screen, won't switch back on normally and can only be revived in DFU mode by connecting USB cable to my MacBook.

The restore process means I need to start again, the Restore to Factory option, then restoring my data and apps from the iCloud backups. Takes along time each time, I have done this 8 times now but I still have the same fault. I just cannot seem to fix this.

Local UK Store where I bought it (Argos) say they won't help, thatit's Apples duty to fix. Any suggestions?

Refunds by the resller are something to deal with the reseller. I'm not from the UK, and your rules are different, but Apple is who deals with warranty issues. If you live to far away from an Apple Store, then contact Apple support and arrange to send the device in. You do not need a refund, you need to see about getting the device working. There is a difference. Refunds are generally within 14 days of purchase.
