How do I unlink my FaceTime from my MacBook?

Hey all,

Simple question - I hate having my Macbook or iPad ring when I get a phone call or a FaceTime. Basically, I just want to know how to unlink everything so that my iPhone is separate from either of them.

That annoying red "5" is driving me nuts. (That's on my MacBook).

If anyone has any ideas regarding this issue, I'd appreciate the advice!

Thanks!

If you are wanting to make your mac and iPhone separate from each other, you are going to need to remove your phone number from your Apple ID. Open FaceTime > FaceTime Preferences > Settings. To remove your phone number, deselect it in the list.

The annoying red "5" above your FaceTime application is really easy to get rid of. Open System Preferences > Notifications > scroll down to FaceTime > Uncheck the Badge App icon box and you should see that annoying red "5" go away.
