Question

I Have an iPhone 6 and I've yet to receive the ios10, its not giving me the option to update to it

Are you certain it's an iPhone 6?

What do you see when you go to Settings > General > Software Update?

What do you see at Settings > General > About > Model?

yes im sure its an iphone 6. when I go to Settings > General > Software Update it says IOS 9.3.5 your software is up to date

and when i go to Settings > General > About > Model is says MG52LL/A

OK, thanks. That does confirm you have an iPhone 6 (GSM, North America).

So you have one or both of these two issues:

Your storage is full. Check Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (under Storage) and be certain you have absolutely no less than 10% of your iPhone's total storage free.
You are attempting to upgrade using iTunes, but do not have a current iTunes version. You need at least iTunes 12.5.1 to communicate with iOS 10. iTunes 12.5 requires at least Windows 7 or OS X 10.9.5.
