I've searched the internet for the solution before and that's what pretty much everyone suggest. I've tried all of that many times and it's not working. All the bookmarks reappearing except those in Favorites folder. I'm starting to think maybe the problem is with my MacBook? When I'm trying to understand what's happening, it looks like there should be some file stored in my iCloud preferences or somewhere, I don't know, that contains all the bookmarks - including Favorites - that need to be synced. So maybe the problem is with that file, if there is such thing?
Try Settings/iCloud and slide off syncing. Wait a few minutes and then resync.
Try going to System Preferences/iCloud and stop syncing. Wait a couple of minutes, then recheck syncing.
Have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?
Actually no, I haven't tried signing out of iCloud and now wondering if that would have helped. But I believe I've fixed the problem myself. I turned off Safari syncing in all of my devices, found MacBook Safari Bookmark.plist, moved it to Desktop, relaunched Safari, deleted default bookmarks and imported them back from the .plist file on my desktop and then enabled iCloud syncing on all devices. It turned out that for some reason my Favorites folder was named BookmarksBar or something like that so I manually moved all the bookmarks from that folder to my Favorites and now everything seems to be working just fine. But thank you for trying to help!🙂
Double click the Home button and swipe Safari upwards. Then try Settings/Safari/Clear all History and Website Data.
Try a reset.
Are the Favorites also disappearing if you add them to the MacBook?
The Favorites on my MacBook works just fine, they are not disappearing.
You are welcome.
iOS Safari favorites keep disappearing
