IMessage and FT not working

Hi guys. I have a problem connecting on IMessage and FaceTime. Last week I got an IPhone 6 Plus from my sister .(it has the IOS 10.1.1). We restore the iphone and put my SIM card in.Well I can't connect on I message or FT .I am waiting for activation for minutes , at the end I get an error message. I tried everything I found on internet, I called apple support, no one was able to help me.The problem is I am being charged by my mobile provider every time I try to connect because my phone is sending automatically SMS to apple uk server.Well apple said I should speak with my provider, I spoke but the problem is not from them .The weird part is that I moved my SIM card to my mom's Iphone and I was able to connect on IMessage and FT with both my phone number and apple account .In my phone I used my mom's account to check if my phone works and it connected with her phone number and her own apple account .Im really mad because I don't know what the problem is. As a conclusion my phone doesn't work with my SIM card , i can't connect .Works with others but not mine .My SIM card works perfect but if I try it in another phone .Any suggestions? Thank you

What is the exact complete wording of the error message you are receiving?


What is the model number of your iPhone? Settings>General>About>Model.

You may have to scroll to see the entry for Model.


What does it say when you look at Settings>General>About>Carrier?

You may have to scroll to see the entry for Carrier.


If your wireless provider is charging you for the activation SMS, you are not

using a supported wireless provider. You may either change providers to avoid

these charges or work the matter out with your current provider, but FaceTime

and iMessage will not activate without that SMS being sent and responded to.


With which wireless provider in what country are you attempting to use

FaceTime and iMessage?

An error occurred during activation....I get also different message. The exact model is MN902ZD/A


The mobile provider is called Digi which is not on apple list but my mother and friends have also Digi and it works .As I mentioned before I can connect with this SIM card on another Iphone ,on both IMessage and FaceTime .So this particular SIM card won't connect on this Iphone

I called my provider as well, they checked and didn't find any problems from their side .I really don't know how to fix this

The phone was bought in 2014 from

Switzerland on subscription with Salt .If I go on setting and check the carrier I can see it Digi , there is no error .When he tried to log in and connect he was in roaming so I'm

Thinking that somehow all got messed up and it's an error somewhere .Because it won't work with this number .Today he chenged the SIM card , but still the same problem .So this phone number won't work in this particular Iphone .
