How do I recover my email icon on my iPad after deleting it by mistake?

I have managed to delete my built in apple mail app icon by mistake. I have gone to settings and the mail has also gone from there, I have reset the home screen layout and can't find it still. I have looked in my App Store and can't find it either. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Hi. If you have iOS 10, the first which allows removal of the buit-in apps, you can restore it from the app store. It's not under Purchased, because you never actually loaded it from the app store. Just search for "apple mail" to find it.

If it's deleted then your iPad must be on iOS 10 (prior to iOS 10 it wasn't possible to delete built-in apps), and it should show in the App Store app for redownloading : http://geo.itunes.apple.com/app/mail/id1108187098?mt=8
