I have an icon in my ipad that I wish to remove, this is not one of my apps. when I tap on it I get a dark square with 6 icons in it (notification center, device, control center, home, siri & custom). does anyone know how to get rid of this icon?

You are looking at a folder that has those 6 apps in it. A folder gets created if you tap an icon until they all start wiggling, and then move that icon on top of another one. If you do that, a folder is created that houses both of them. You can continue to add apps to the folder if you wish.

To get rid of the folder, you need to tap lightly on one of the icons in the folder until they all start to wiggle, then just slide it out of the darker square. Repeat this for the reset of them. Once they are all out of the folder, it will go away.

Here's what my folder looks like:

This is icon good to use it if any one don't need those 6 function with individual act then we needs to manually went to setting-->then-->general-->after-->accessibility--->then-->Assistive Touch---->then rest others but this is the all icon has from we get great benefit. we see that in apple device and iPad there are 4 and 6 icon based individual performance serve. There are six icon from assistive Touch is the great work done any any types of apple brand .It is natural that if your device on screen and all button can you touch much of the time after device longevity less and your finger steep much of the time on button that also reason for device button useless more than your expectation but the assistive touch after setting on screen you never touch on screen plus don't need to touch or push your button and front of the device that all types of necessary work you will done by assistive touch. There are others five or three also have some favor you get such as device, favorites, home, voice control, siri, notification center, control center, custom etc we should check all the button and their act and we also remembered that APPLE is the number one brand all others world of organization so they made any device under we found any option that has to be big favorable reason for uses.
