battery powered projector

Without looking at "how to write a good question" - so it probably isn't: can anybody recommend a battery powered projector for showing movies on my iPhone?

We are starting a “make your own movies” club and meet in a yurt (no power) to share our clips. We can make the space quite dark but not completely and there are 7 of us in the club so the image needs to be be large enough for us all to see it.

I like the idea of the battery being external so that we can buy a couple and power them all up before our meeting.

Price is not a problem. We just want the one that will show the best quality picture.

Any thoughts anybody?

Hello Mum68,

This sounds like fun! I found a couple of projectors on our website for you, and one of them is battery powered. Take a look at the comments from other customers in the Ratings & Reviews section.

Miroir HD Projector

Texas Instrument's DLP IntelliBright Technology

1280 by 720 (720p) native resolution

1080p maximum input resolution

Auto vertical keystone adjustment +/- 40 degrees

Viewable screen size from 20 to 100 inches

Built in li-polymer battery for approximately two hours of projecting time

Two built-in 1-watt speakers; audio out jack (3.5mm)

USB out port for charging your iPhone

I'm assuming you have a power generator for your Yurt. Since the battery powered projector can only run for two hours on a charge, you may want to consider using a power generator for portable projectors that require electricity, like this one:

Enjoy the rest of your day!
