Music Controls Not Working in Control Center and Lockscreen iOS 10.1.1

Hello, I currently have a iPhone 7 128 GB running iOS 10.1.1 I just have been running into the same issue a lot. My music controls seem to not be working on my lockscreen or in the control center. To fix this issue I have to restart my phone every time, which is inconvenient. When I play music directly from the music app and lock my phone, I am not able to see the current song playing or have any controls and same with control center. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.

Hi mets08123,

I understand you're not able to use the Control Center or Lockscreen playback controls on your iPhone intermittently. Let's work together to try and fix this.

Thanks for verifying that your iPhone has been restarted and updated, next let's try to remove the Music app, restart the iPhone again, and then re-enable the Music app.

Let us know if this issue affects any other apps that place controls on the Lockscreen or if other parts of the Control Center are also unresponsive.
