does anyone know how to deleate a root foolder off an eclipse fitclip mp3 on a macbook

am trying to deleate with great difficulty a root folder with music off an eclpise fitclip 4gb mp3 player using my macbook computer to put new music on it anyone got suggestions or answers

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6), itunes
