iphone SE photos to MacBook iphoto

Need to move photos from new iphone SE to iphoto on MacBook. I used to be able to plug in my phone and they photos would load automatically. Now my MacBook pops up a message that I need a password to load photos. There is no place to enter a password and I signed into my "password" screen already. What do I do now?

Hi ldavis0829,

I see you are unable to import photos to your Mac as you are receiving a prompt to unlock your iPhone. Here are the troubleshooting steps I would recommend going through since your iPhone is unlocked when attempting to import these photos.

About the ‘Trust This Computer‘ alert on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

You may also want to attempt importing these photos with Image Capture if the issue persists. Here is more information on Image Capture if you are unfamiliar with using this application.

Image Capture: Transfer images and other items from your device

Please let us know if the issue persists, and thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

Cheers.
