How do you undo/redo in the Notes app in the icloud on a PC?

Hello,

I have an ipod touch and it allows me to use software online to update information rather than use the device. I believe that this functions in icloud, but I am not certain. It is the app that allows people with PCs to access and edit their information on their ipod device.

I am trying to undo a delete that I made unintentionally in the Notes app. I do not see an undo or redo button or anything like that. It seems a bit absurd since that functionality exists on almost all software I have ever used. I prefer to believe that I just do not know how to use this app rather than the idea that the function simply does not exist. That would be more than I could take.

I have done some research, and all I find is shake your device and the information will be undone. This is hard to do when you are sitting at a desktop PC entering information.

Can anyone help with the solution?

Thanks so much

There is no way to undo a delete within a Note.

However, you can recover a deleted note with 30 days of deleting it.

From iCloud Notes Help:

Recover recently deleted notes

If you’re using upgraded notes, you can recover and edit iCloud notes you deleted in the last 30 days on iCloud.com or your devices with iOS 9 or later or OS X v10.11 or later that use the same iCloud account. However, you can’t recover notes you permanently removed (as described in “Permanently remove recently deleted notes,” below).

  1. Go to Notes on iCloud.com, then click Recently Deleted on the left.If you don’t see Recently Deleted in the folder list on the left, you don’t have any recoverable notes. If you don’t see a folder list to the left of the notes list, you’re not using upgraded notes and can’t recover deleted notes.
  2. Click a note on the right, then click Recover in the toolbar. The note moves to the Notes folder. To recover directly to a folder other than Notes, drag a note from the Recently Deleted folder to another folder.

Note: If you delete a shared note that you do not own, the note does not move to your Recently Deleted folder. For more information, see Delete shared notes.
