How to get spaces between Apps on Apple Watch

Please see http://www.cultofmac.com/322262/scientific-apple-watch-app-layout/

I want to arrange the apps on my Apple Watch in a similar manner, using circles of apps with spaces in between as shown on the above web site.

Problem is, every time I try to create a circle of Apps with a blank space between, another App just "falls" back into the empty space.

It must be possible, there are pictures on the above site showing this.

How can I create this layout with empty circles?

You can do it in the latest software and hopefully on watchOS 4 if you do it the right way. Download two random apps to be used as scaffolding apps. Mine is the lighting rain drop app and the green lighting bolt app. Arrange your scaffolding apps like this (first picture) Then build your wanted apps off them (second and third pictures). Then move the scaffolding apps or delete them (fourth and fifth pictures). You can do this tactics horizontally and vertically. Hopefully this helped you!

Hello Julian,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to arrange the apps on your Apple Watch home screen in a way you have seen others have done. You can also arrange apps in the Apple Watch app on an iPhone, so I would suggest trying that option to get the layout you want to achieve:

Rearrange your apps. On Apple Watch, press the Digital Crown to go to the Home screen. Touch and hold an app until they all jiggle, then drag it to a new location. When you’re done, press the Digital Crown.

Or open the Apple Watch app on iPhone, tap My Watch, then tap App Layout. Touch and hold an app icon, then drag it to a new location.

I know how to move the Apps.

The question I am asking is how to move them in such a way that you can create circles of Apps with a space between them.

Apparently it's possible, see here: http://www.cultofmac.com/322262/scientific-apple-watch-app-layout/

Yet, whenever I try to do this, either using the Watch App on my iPhone or directly in the watch itself, the Apps shift into the open space that I am trying to leave open.
