Hi

The following steps may help:

In the Contacts app, check that there is only a single contact card for you and that it contains your name, iPhone number and Apple ID email address along with any other information (eg your home address).

Go to: Settings > iCloud:

  • Check that you signed in with your Apple ID.
  • Consider enabling iCloud Contacts.

Go to: Settings > Contacts > My Info > select your contact card.

Go to: Settings > Siri > My Info > select your contact card.

On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Siri - disable, pause for a few moments and then re-enable Siri.

Restart your iPhone:

You've seen several correct answers above. Here is some other helpful info. A good guide for Siri is http://www.siriuserguide.com . Just click the 3 lines to the lower right to see all the categories of Siri commands.

To let Siri know who you are, select your contact information in Settings > General > Siri > My Info.

You can ask Siri to assign relationship to your contacts. This means you can use natural language to call contacts you have closer relationship with.

For example:

"Text my husband I’ll be home in 30 minutes"

There are several ways you can add relationships:

Tell Siri directly. For instance:

"Joe Bloggs is my brothe

If you ask Siri to contact a relationship without setting it first (such as saying “Call my sister”), Siri will ask you if you’d like to create a relationship.

You can also add relationships the ‘slow’ way by editing your contacts. Go to your own contact card (create one if you haven’t done this yet) and click Add Field=>Related People

To remove a relationship it needs to be deleted manually from the contact card.
