ibook G4 800MHz and Powerbook G4 1.67 share the same type of RAM?

Hi,newbie question here.
I am thinking of upgrading the RAM on my ibook (currently 256MB) using a 1GB stick, is that advisable?
Alternatively, should I upgrade the Powerbook's RAM (currently 2 512MB sticks) using the 1GB and transfer one of the spare 512 MB sticks to the ibook?

Hi,

If the PowerBook is your main computer, upgrade its RAM and use the 512MB stick of PC2700 in your iBook. It's certainly cheaper than buying a 1GB stick for each.

I will do that, I wasn't sure if the RAM was compatible for both computers. Cheers.

You're welcome.

The iBook can use either PC2100 or PC2700 (which will run at PC2100 speed) and the PowerBook uses PC2700.
