Grouping no longer imports CONTENTGROUP tag

In "Get Info", iTunes used to import the contents of the CONTENTGROUP tag into its Grouping tag in the library, but apparently as of the 12.x release which introduced the work name and movement for classical music it no longer does. I don't know if this is a bug or if they think this change actually has some merit - I'm not seeing the benefit of disconnecting the association between the CONTENTGROUP file tag and iTunes's Grouping. I use an Mp3 tagger to put various mood and style keywords into the CONTENTGROUP file tag then import into iTunes where it copies into Grouping, where smart playlists can then refer to the keywords in Grouping. Are there any scripts out there that will copy the CONTENTGROUP file tag into the library Grouping like it used to automatically do?
