Plantronics Explorer 50 stopped working with iOS 10.1

Ever since upgrading to iOS 10.1 my Plantronics Explorer50 headset stopped working.

When someone calls in and I answer with the bluetooth head set (or when I try calling someone), my entire phone will freeze about half of the time and I have to turn off the headset before I can start using the phone again.

I ordered 2 more of the headsets thinking that might be it, but all of them have the same issue. I did factory restore on my phone 3x and that didn't help either.

Now I google the issue and find out that others are having an identical problem.

Un pair the headset ...

To unpair a Bluetooth accessory, tap Settings > Bluetooth, find the device you want to unpair, and tap User uploaded file , then Forget this Device.

When you Forget this Device on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, that accessory is removed from the list of available Bluetooth devices.

Then on your iPhone tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Then put it back in discovery mode, then pair it again > Get help connecting a Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
