How do I stop Safari from asking me to get Chrome now?

Every time I launch Safari, a (Try a fast, secure browser with updates built it. Yes, get Chrome now) window pops up on the right corner of the Safari browser.

How do I permanently remove this window?

Thank you!

This prompt is actually appearing on the Google home page. Sounds like you have your homepage set to open Google as the first thing you see.

If you don't want the Chrome advertisement, you'll need to make a different page your homepage. To do that, open Safari, and then click on the Safari menu at the top left of the screen (next to the apple). Choose Preferences, and in the space that says Homepage, type the address of some other page. Or, just go to the website you want to be your homepage, and then open the Safari menu...instead o typing in the address, you can just click on Set To Current Page.

My homepage is set to www.latimes.com

How does that have anything to do with the Chrome drop window? The be clear though, when I go under File to New Window, it opens up my 12 Top Sites and the URL is empty. I prefer it that way, so I can choose one of my Top 12 Sites. I never see the Chrome drop window in the Top Sites window, only when I go to another site.
