8Fit - how to cancel? No information can be found

8FIT - I inadvertently "joined," for free, but discovered that after a month, they will charge me $60/mo. No information on how to cancel this. Anybody know ?

I found this in their terms of service.

So I wrote to them asking for cancellation.

Hope it works and that this may be of help to you.



  • Subscriptions with a trial period: Some of our subscriptions include a free trial period, where you can experience 8fit Pro at no cost. Because you’re already benefitting from the free trial to fully evaluate the product, charges for these subscriptions are non refundable.
  • Subscriptions with a money-back guarantee: When purchasing a subscription that doesn’t include a trial period, you’re entitled to a 7-day money back guarantee. To get your refund, you must send a request to help@8fit.com within 7 days of your subscription start date. Charges for renewals beyond the first purchase aren’t eligible for refunds.

They have charged me for one year!! Ofcourse I canceled directly but the money was gone. I wrote to them and they answered:


"Hi Ivo, I'm sorry but I'm not able to contact Apple on your behaf. Please speak directly to see if Apple can refund the amount.

Kind regards Gregor - 8fit Support"


So I wonder. Can you make the refund?

I downloaded it on my Samsung and got charged today. Went on the play store order history, there is an option called report a problem with the order. I wrote to them and explained why I wanted a refund and the refund was processed in matter of seconds. Apple should have something similar!

After a 2 week free trial, I have been billed for a full year that I did not request or want. I have cancelled the subscription, but want to cancel the current year that I was billed for and receive a refund.


8Fit refers me to Apple. How do I request a refund?
