How to repair my Iphone in Brazil

Hello,

My wife’s Iphone and mine have been presenting problems in WiFi connection and Battery life. We both have Iphone 5 (still with guarantee) and use them for work together with our other Apple products.

I called the local support and they told me I should get real technical support.

I tried to schedule an appointment at the Genius Bar in São Paulo, but it was impossible, as the online form didn’t present any available times for the week (it only schedules a week in advanced).

I tried to do it every day for the last week, maybe some time frees, but nothing, no available times.

I tried an independent authorized technical support company, but they told me I would need to leave my iPhone for check in store and it would take them some (3-5) days. (this is not an option, as I need my iPhone for work).

I went to the Genius Bar store in Morumbi Shopping, but the attendance told me I should arrive to the store 2-3 hours before the opening to get in line and if I were lucky, I could get attendant after some hours of waiting the same day. Obviously it doesn’t make sense nor to leave my iPhone for a few days in the store, nor to spend a whole day waiting in line to get service.

My wife is pregnant, and no preferential line was offered.

So, now I have 2 not working well iPhones and no possibility to fix them.

And I wonder, what should I do in order to get my guaranteed service?

Contact Apple Support in Brazil to establish your available service options or book a Genius Bar reservation or contact an Apple Authorised Service Provider:



If either iPhone was purchased from Vivo, you can also contact Vivo to explore service options.


(This is a user-based technical support community - you are not talking to Apple here and no-one here can arrange anything for you).

Sorry but it seems like you're having such technical problems, but the only way to fix it is going to be either sending your iPhone's or waiting line and either wait a few hours or leave your phone.


Unfortunately you're not going to be able to snap your fingers and just fix it. So I would suggest either doing was just above or buy iPhones also if you didn't buy it directly from Apple maybe the carrier or apple will swap out device if you're in warranty still.


Either way apple has a great amount of information on their website to get help in your area iPhones or any other idevice here is the link.

Thanks Jonathan,

I know the service options.

Unfortunately they are useless as i describe above.

I contacted the oficial support, they told me to go to a genius bar where it's impossible to make a reservation.

And yes, i understand the community aim, and yet, i decided to post my reclaim, as the oficial communication forms are being helpless...who knows...

I appreciate the efforts that you have already made, but those are the options for obtaining service (as you asked for).


It appears from your comments that you could have attended an appointment by now, had you originally booked the earliest available reservation:

No Jonathan,

I wish i could.

There are no available reservations. Nothing.

I don't mind reserving one when ever they have available.

But it's not possible.

They only offer one week in advance reservation and there are no available times to reserve as it's all full.

They only permit weekly reservations and not monthly, that could maybe solve this problem.

I just don't think it's right to go to the Genius Bar and wait for 6-7 hours to get attended.

Buying a phone is easy...getting service, is not.
