Numbers checkmark multiple checkboxes
Is there a way to checkmark a selected group of checkbox fields?

I would select a cell with a checkbox in the new state you want, then select the cells you want to update by selecting one cell then hold the command key while clicking the others (to add them to your selection), then paste
Select cell with checked box, copy
Now select the destination cells using <command> + click:
Paste:
That works. Thanks. Your solution is very easy, but I was hoping for a slightly simpler one eliminating the need to copy the first cell.
OK. Post back when you know that solution. I would be interested in knowing it too.
There it is! Beautiful. Thanks much.
Hi Bruce,
So how does this workflow (using SG's example):

Just curious.

I've been using the 0 and 1 keys now and they work great.
Thanks for sharing this!

And doing the cells one at a time, using return or the down arrow to move to the next cell to be checked?
More actions, but staying on the keyboard as opposed to reaching for the mouse, so probably more efficient in that regard.

Thanks for the green check, and for the interesting question! I'm not quite sure exactly how I stumbled on this (apparently) undocumented feature, but I selected non-contiguous cells (by holding down the command key and clicking individual cells) and then experimented with different keys, trying 1 first because I knew it sometimes stands for TRUE and that a checked Checkbox is also TRUE. To my surprise hitting the 1 did the trick! Then I thought, 0 sometimes stands for FALSE, and sure enough... Anyway, it's nice to have this handy way to toggle multiple Checkboxes on and off.
