iTunes rollout with Microsoft Intune

Hello,

we have currently issues with our iTunes rollout. The issues occur since version 12.5.1.21 - the older versions could be installed without any problem.

We are receiving the following problem:

User uploaded file

in english it means something like - the procedure entry "AVCFPlayer...." is not found in DLL "C:\Program Files\....."

In the microsoft intune console it seems like the installation was successful.

iTunes is installed on nearly 200 Clients and should be updated - but with the current issues it is not possible.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Kind regards

Daniel

Can you check what version of iTunesCore.dll has been placed in C:\Program Files\iTunes after the installation has completed? It may be that you can manually extract the correct file from the installer and place it there before iTunes is run to workaround some failure in the installer. Occasionally running the installer in different languages has thrown up novel issues either during or after installation.
