Get messages on iPhone but not iPad

Receive messages on my iPhone but not on my iPad! What's going on?

iPad mini 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 10.1.1

Im assuming you mean iMessages? Have you signed into iMessage on the iPad with the same Apple ID that you are using on your iPhone?


Also if you check in Settings > Messages on the iPhone, sometimes iMessage is working without a Apple ID (depending on how the phone is setup). If you have a option that says "use Apple ID" it will link everything together.


If you are getting iMessages (blue bubbles) but not Text messages (green bubbles) on your iPad, then you need to enable Text Message forwarding on the iPhone (can be found in Settings >Messages > Text Message forwarding).

hey charley, I hope your having a great day ! Here are some of he reasons you might be facing that problem.


1. continuity is not available in KSA and UAE

2. You must sign in with same Apple ID on both the devices

3. You must know how to set up. For that info check the link below, it will really be useful !
