Hi,

Preferences can become corrupted sometimes after an OS upgrade.

Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type or copy paste the following:

/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist

Click Go then move the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file to the Trash.

Then restart your Mac. Your Mac will generate a new .plist file for you.

Then try Bluetooth.

Hi Carolyn,

I was facing the same problem when trying to pair mi bluetooth earspeakers with my Macbook Pro early 2015, when I updated to OS Sierra.

Bluetooth device didn't show up on the audio output list, only internal speakers.

Applying your recomendations,

.... and earspeakers turn to work again, showing up on the output list.

Great, and thanks !!!
