I'd like to print on black or yellow paper instead of printing with colored ink. I'm making a Happy Birthday Banner and to save ink would just like to print the outline of the letters on black paper or even yellow. Is there an easy way to do this? The outline function isn't allowing me to select it. I have tried doing it with a text box and just in the normal text pages document. I'd appreciate any and all help. Thank you!

You can't print white and most colours will not show on black paper. You can change the colour of the text to a mid to dark tone (red, blue, green etc) and print onto a light coloured paper (ie yellow)
When i say select, I mean I'm highlighting the text to try and find an option to only have an outline of the text as shown above. I thought yellow or white may show up on black paper but I'm also ok with black outline and printing on yellow paper. Am I missing something really easy?
Yes that's what I'd like to do. I'm ok with priming black text on yellow paper but my problem is I don't know how o change the font to an outlined text as you show. I'm using a Capitals font but would like to change it to outline. How do I change it? I don't see an outline option. Thank you!
I don't think that you would be able to see anything if you printed on black paper.
What you you mean by "select" are you trying to highlight it or move the text?
