How much is my MacBook Pro worth?

I am trying to sell my MacBook Pro to get a retina MacBook Pro and I don't know how much it is worth. Also, where can I sell my MacBook Pro?

Here are the specs.

Product: MacBook Pro (13 inch, Mid 2012) Non-Retina

Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Solid State Drive: 250GB

Secondary Hard Drive Disk: 500GB

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

The optical drive is replaced with a secondary hard drive.

Thanks!

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12.1), null

Hi,

According to Mactracker, which bases it on the previous six months of completed auctions on eBay, a stock machine is worth about $395. Just a guess, but adding the RAM and the SSD, minus the SD, might add $100, for a total of about $495. Of course you can be more "precise" by possibly finding completed auctions for a machine exactly like yours. Another option is to sell on Craigslist, but eBay at least gives you an idea what to ask for it.

Yes. Please see my earlier post and explanation. Six months of completed eBay sales are a pretty good indicator of the price you'll get. I figured another $100 for the RAM and SSD, which is right on at about half price. $495 depending on condition. Of course you can ask as much as you want on eBay and Craigslist, I just don't think you're going to get it.
