Need Older Version of Malwarebytes/Snow Leopard

Hi. I'm running 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard), and Malwarebytes wont' run on my ooold system.

I have heard that Adware Medic is the predecessor, but I want to be sure that I download it from somewhere safe.

Adware Medic was acquired by Malwarebytes, but it's been my general experience that it is more of a diagnostic tool then a system malware cleaner.
