Daisy-Chaining two LG Ultrafine 5K monitors together on a 15in MBP w/TB?

I know that LG will be releasing their colloborated 5K monitors with Apple sometime in December. Will it be possible to daisy-chain two 5K monitors together and only use up one thunderport on the 2016 MBP w/TB?

I'm curious as the # of ports on the MBP is limiting and I would prefer to not use up more ports than I could, especially when an extra port can be used for storage or a hub even.

I've got 2.

No they don't daisy chain - they only have 1 thunderbolt port on each monitor. As it happens, the pair don't really work that well with the 2016 15" MBP either (460 gfx). If you want to plug both into the same side of the laptop you have to do it at *exactly* (within a fraction of a second) the same time or else it will only recognise the first one to go in.

Screens are very good though.

Yeah I found the same deal. I'm using my MBPro mostly as a desktop laptop, so my connections from the monitors are semi-permanent. Whenever I need to travel or take it out of the docking scenario, I've had to shutdown or reboot the machine once both cables are plugged in on one side.

It doesn't make sense for me to put the cables left and right due to the distance and also since I have the laptop to the right of both the monitors. It is too bad it cannot daisy-chain.
