iPhone 6s headphone and speaker issue

Forgive me if this has already been asked - I couldn't find an answer. The headphones and speakers on my iPhone will intermittently stop working. No sound will come from either location - the only way I can get the sound to start working again is by restarting my device. This is happening randomly multiple time a day. I'm running the latest update and the phone is undamaged. Any thoughts?
