my chrome browser wont support the itunes download how can i get this so i can sync my iphone 4 to it

I don't know why Chrome wouldn't support downloading the iTunes application to your computer. However, if you're having trouble with Chrome, try a different browser. Also, check your firewall settings.
Apple has never written a version of iTunes for Chrome OS. so it is not possible to install iTunes on Chrome OS.
There is however a work around to access the iTunes music without installing iTunes as stated at http://www.touchgeeks.com/itunes-on-chromebook/
