Where can I find windows drivers for the AMD Radeon HD 5770 1GB Video Card (MAC)

Can anyone please tell me where can I find windows drivers for the AMD Radeon HD 5770 1GB Video Card (MAC)?

I installed widows 7 x64 using bootcamp but it does not recognise some of the drivers, most notably the AMD Radeon HD 5770 1GB Video Card and the Bluetooth USB host controller.

I am using a mid 2010 Mac Pro 12 core 32 GB ram with dual AMD Radeon HD 5770 cards, I really need to get this up and running using windows as there are no printing utilities for Mac and I need to make a $hitload of prints for an exhibition within the next four days but without the relevant drivers its going be difficult to view the print previews.

Another thing is that it does not recognise the internal USB's or audio out?

Any help here will be really appreciated.

Thanks,

Hugh

I have not tried a HD 5770 but based on my experience with a HD 7950 I would expect the following.

Ah! I see that the current AMD Catalyst driver only supports the Radeon HD 7700 and above so your old 5770 would not be supported but my 7950 is.

I have found the AMD driver for 'legacy' i.e. old cards. See http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy3&os=Windows+ 7+-+64

Thanks, John,

I finally managed to get it going after 3 BSOD's and a Bootcamp update.

fingers crossed it holds out (5 hours and still no crashes:)

Recognises the graphic cards only in windows experience these are given as a '1' I cannot believe these are being sold on eBay for around £100-150 each I have two installed, now looking for a better replacement to use for video editing.

thanks

Even if the Radeon HD 5770 card had been 'start of the art' in 2010 when your Mac Pro was made it would still now be over six years old and therefore a dinosaur. As it is even back then the 5770 was no better than 'average' in performance so now it really, really is slow.

If your using Adobe software or Avid then get an Nvidia card. If your using Apple's Final Cut Pro X then get an AMD card. Check the MacVidCards site for suggestions even if you decide to get an equivalent PC model card elsewhere without the Mac firmware option. See - http://www.macvidcards.com/
