Calendar language does not match system language

Hello, 
My iphones system language is English, but since a few days ago my calendar language decided to change itself to the regeonal(Israel) language which is Hebrew.

I'm aware of the fact that I live in Israel, but I do like my phone to be completely in English, including the date.

Multiple times have I changed the region to different ones, restarting doesn't help either
Doesn't really change anything

Maybe my phone decided I should learn Hebrew

There was no update, no sudden changes, nothing I'm aware of happened, my system language as was still is English, the region setting was always Israel but it the date was still shown in English

Please advise, I do not like Hebrew
