Does iPhone 6s have 5mp front camera?

Does iPhone 6s really have 5mp front camera? Considering, that it doesn't take pictures any better at all than iPhone 5c. Here is the comparison between iPhone 6s, 5c and iPad 3 rear camera (which is really 5mp). Though image does have bigger size (2576/1932 vs 1280/960 on 5c) it seems that it just uses interpolation or something due to image quality.
