Phone is burning in top right hand corner by camera

Hello guys in real need of help.

I had a glass screen protector on my phone which got cracked I then pulled this off.

After doing so the top right hand corner of my 5c was BURNING hot, and I mean too hot to leave my thumb on there. Whilst looking at the screen for 5 seconds my battery was rapidly decreasing, as the heat was coming from where the camera is, I switched the camera on. The image was okay however as I was moving it the motion was slower than in real life.

I then noticed the screen was beginning to get a black circle in the corner.. I've now switched it off because I was scared of what would happen and didn't want the whole screen to get black and me be unable to use it.

If i continue to use my handset will it burn? should i use it?

If anyone has any idea what is going on please respond, quite worried.
