Olympus MAUSB-10 Card Reader drivers for Intel Macs?

I recently upgraded from a G4 iMac to a Mac Mini with the Intel Core Duo processor. On the old system, I had a USB card reader (Olympus MAUSB-10) that read the xD-Picture card from my camera. The old drivers will not install properly, either from the CD, the Olympus website, or Softpedia. iPhoto does not recognize the reader as being attached either. Is there some sort of Universal Mac generic card reader driver?

My card reader has never needed any drivers. It's some cheap-o no-name USB 2.0 card reader. I paid $7 for it at my local Apple reseller. All I've ever had to do to use it is plug it into a USB port.

Unfortunately, my card reader doesn't seem to do that. 😟 Our upstairs housemate's card reader didn't need a driver on my computer either.

Well I guess what I'm saying is to ditch your card reader and buy one that doesn't suck, since you can get one for less than $10.

Well, yes, I can do that. In fact, I'll probably end up doing that, but I was still curious if there were drivers out there.

I am not aware of any universal card reader drivers. Seems like you searched in all the right places for an updated driver. Ifnone exists there isn't much more you can do. 😟
