By the way, if I open the Contact app it goes to Group so no way I can tap on anything. Nothing is there to tap on, so your instructions don't help.
I've done what you asked of the other member and nothing comes up for a Port, and I cannot get OUT of "groups" on the iPhone. This phone has been doing strange things every so often so am wondering if something is wrong with the last software upload. I have turned the phone off/powered down and tried again and still it goes to Groups. All the other devices are correct. All my settings are correct. The funny thing is that in the Groups page there are no groups. It just brings up a few of my family or friends…several of whom are not in any group of mine.
Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
I understand your Contacts are not showing up when you view your list. Check out this article here that may be helpful: Get help using iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders
Let me know if this helps.See which account your contacts are in:
- Open the Contacts app and tap Groups in the upper-left corner.
- Deselect the All [account] option for any third-party account, like Gmail or Yahoo.
- Make sure All iCloud is selected.
- Tap Done to see your list of contacts. If you don't see the contact you're looking for, it's stored in another account.
- You can import the contact from a third-party service into iCloud.
Set iCloud as the default account for your contacts in iOS 8 or later:
- Tap Settings > Contacts.
- Tap Default Account.
- Select iCloud.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Cheers!
