the iBook store is unavailable

the iBook store on my mac is unavailable, my apple ID is based in China, I have changed the location to US, but it still does not work. Does anyone can help me figure this problem? Thanks.
What exactly do you mean by 'unavailable', what happens when you try to access the store ? If the iBooks Store button isn't showing top left of the bookshelf do you have it hidden via the Parental in iBooks > Preferences ?
(You can't buy/download anything from the US store unless you are physically in the US.)
