Apple Watch - Withings Health App

Does anyone know how to connect the Apple Watch to the Withings Health app? I installed the app on the watch and when I open it, it only shows "Please sign in on your iPhone".

I am signed in on my iPhone, already tried logging on and off, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Any help?

Hi


To use the Withings Health Mate app on your watch, check that you are signed in to the Withings Health Mate app on your iPhone.


If you have already done so, the following steps may help:


Close the Withings app on your iPhone:

  • Double-click the Home button > swipe left / right to the Withings app > swipe up to close the app.


Restart both your iPhone and your watch, turning both off together, then restarting your iPhone first:


Open the Withings app on your iPhone (log in again if required) and then open the app on your Apple Watch.

If the issue persists, note that other users are reporting similar issues with the Apple Watch app and that Withings currently advises:


"The Withings Health Mate™ Apple Watch app might display an error message in certain situations. Please note that we are currently working on fixing this issue. Thank you for your patience!":

I'm still getting the same wording when I start the Withings app on my Apple Watch "Please sign in on your iPhone"

I've emailed them now with the issue.

I'll update this thread when I hear back from them. Hope it gets sorted soon as it would be convenient having access to my Withings scale readings and my blood pressure from off of my Apple Watch.


Having just gotten an Apple Watch. Did the Apple Watch Withings app, used to work fine up until recently?

I've just got an email back from Withings:

We apologize for the issue that you are experiencing with the Health Mate app for Apple Watch.

Our development team is currently working to resolve this issue for the next app update. We apologize for any inconvenience that this is causing.
