iPhone stuck in recovery mode (nothing seems to work)

Hello everyone!

Today I needed to move some photos from my iPhone 5c to my PC, so I connected it but my PC didn't recognize the USB device. It happened to me before and this community helped me solve the problem. So I did the same thing but the PC still didn't recognize my iPhone. I decided to update it but it froze in recovery mode (the screen shows the charger with an arrow pointing at the iTunes logo). I tried to turn it off and reconnect it to iTunes, but nothing happens.

Also my PC still doesn't recognize it.

I'm desperate, I need it for work and I don't know what to do...

Hi Pinkmint,

Welcome back to Apple Support Communities. As I am understanding it, you're currently having an issue with being able to to connect your iPhone to iTunes on your PC. I'd be more than happy to help you to resolve this.

First, you want to make sure iTunes is completely up-to-date using the latest iTunes version. Because you've had this issue in the past as well, you may want to completely uninstall iTunes and then reinstall it. You can do so here:

iTunes

You'll also want to make sure you're using an Apple Certified Cable as well, to learn more about this, please click on the following link:

Identify counterfeit or uncertified Lightning connector accessories

Lastly, because your iPhone is now saying connect to iTunes, please click on the following link and follow the instructions there:

If you see the Connect to iTunes screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you can‘t update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Please feel free to let us know if this helps or if you have any further questions.
Cheers!
