OK once you've purchased the item it's yours what this means is go back into the app repurchase it again and it's going to eat it's going to let you know that you've already purchased this item do you wish to download it again and you hit yes and start downloading whatever it was you delete it
Once you make a purchase you don't have to make it again. If you don't see it on your iPad, then you can search and see if it was backed up on your computer. If not, you can go back to the book store or iTunes store, or app store, and look it up again. Instead of seeing a price that it is going to cost you, you should see a cloud with an arrow pointing out of it meaning you can download it again without paying for it. Otherwise, you'll see "Get" instead which is essentially the same thing. You shouldn't have to pay for it again as long as your signed into the same Apple ID that you purchased it with.
What you have to do is open the app store. There will be five icons on the bottom of the screen. Tap the Purchased icon. All of your previous purchases are there, as well as apps you got on other apple devices. Now all you have to do is download the apps by tapping the cloud with a down arrow.
