Using IOS 9.3.5 on ipad 2 - Is anyone else having endless crashes/freezing in Safari, photos and apps?

Does anyone else have the problems I am having with ipad 2 or any solutions? I have had endless, constant crashes, freezes and slow responses to websites opening in Safari ever since I upgraded to IOS 9.3.5 on my ipad 2. Even prior to that, as well as in the 9.3.5, my photos are constantly re-uploading my entire photos in the ipad photo app. Even though I haven't put a new photo on my ipad in the last few days, it still says it is uploading 1 photo. This has also caused my twitter app to constantly crash or freeze or be delayed for days everytime I try to tweet anything with photos in it from my ipad photos. I was almost going to purchase a new ipad mini 2 last week because of a good deal a certain vendor was offering, but all the constant disruptions that the IOS causes in delaying projects I'm working on and the constant freezing in apps I use to work on projects with each new upgrade, I am on the verge of going with Microsoft Surface. I have gone thru all the steps, from closing all apps, clearing all cookies, and unstalling and re-installing the IOS to its original factory state, although I did restore with the latest icloud backup prior to the worse of the worse of the constant crashes. It is most evident in the way photos are constantly re-uploading all of the 34,000 photos in my icloud photos that seems to be the biggest red flag problem that started with the 9.3.1 upgrade. When Apple creates these problems they then put the burden on the paying consumer to fix it and forcing us to spend endless hours trying to figure out the problems created by the Apple technicians. It is like the old days when Xerox first issued its large copiers which were designed to have breakdown issues so that customers were forced to pay never ending repair and upgrade costs to fix the problem bred into the machines by Xerox so they could increase their profability by 50%. You know consumers don't have endless bank accounts and eventually they, like me will tire of this game and move on to another brand. Think about it, when was the last time you heard someone touting excitment over any Xerox product. It used to be the #1 tech company.

Whether or not the iPad is new to you, it is a 6-7 year old device, so positively ancient by technology standpoints. It simply lacks the processing speed and RAM to do many things that newer devices do with ease.

You can try to restore to factory settings but the reality is that your device may simply be hitting the end of its functional life and needs to be replaced.

If you choose to do so, good luck on whatever model/brand you choose.

I am not sure after all of this time why your iPad 2 is still not working well.

My iPad is STILL running fine on iOS 9.3.5.

The only thing that takes some time are startup and reboot.

Try another iTunes backup and do another complete erase and restore of your iPad 2.

Over a time I have continually updated my list of user performance tips for slower iPads on iOS 9 and 10.

Slow iPad on iOS 9 or 10

Skydiver is right!

IPad 2 models are nearing 7 years old, now, and with the recent introduction of iOS 11, older 32-bit iDevices are obsolete and Apple is starting to weed out/remove any older 32-bit apps that haven't been upgraded to 64-bit compatible code in quite some time.

So, 32-bit iOS apps are going to become fewer in numbers.

So, a new or newer iPad is now inevitable.

This is why Apple introduced the new, lower cost 2017 iPad 5 model, in April

It has most of the newest and latest iPad specs at a much reduced price tag.

Apple is trying to get older iPad 2, 3, 4 and 1st gen Mini iPad users to upgrade to more modern iPad hardware in anticipation of the recent release of iOS 11, which HAS rendered all older 32-bit iDevices obsolete.

Good Luck to You!
