I need information on Bluetooth issues with Starkey Halo 2 hearing aids. Has anyone found a solution to the Bluetooth issue with iOS 10 where the sound becomes garbled and theres a thumping that occurs? Thanks for any help.
I recently tried to work through it with Starkey. Ultimately they informed me that there's an issue with the iPhone 6/6s models. I decided to upgrade my phone; now I have an iPhone 7 Plus and the very same problem. I'd be really ticked off if I didn't want to upgrade my phone anyway.
Anyway, I've found that flipping Bluetooth off, then back on, typically resolves the issue for a while. I do that multiple times per day, whenever the sound deteriorates.
I had the same problem with Halo i1600. After being sent new aids from Starkey and and new phone from apple the problem persisted. But I received a call last week with a temporary solution. Had to delete all notifications, forget hearing aids, restart iPhone, re pair aids. They worked fine after that so the problem was with notifications.
This morning I received a message from Starkey that the problem was solved with the new iOS which I installed this AM. Working fine now.
Exactly which version of iOS 10 are you talking about?
I haven't experienced ANY of what you described.
10.1.1. Starlet has acknowledged there is an issue but they say it's on Apple's side.
Does anyone know if 10.2.1 has settled this issue?
I am still having this issue today, and it started last year when iOS 10 was released.
Hey guys I experienced the same issue I got theses based on that they were made for Apple phone .As a veteran I rely on this to work but ever since iOS 10 came out they haven't.
For what it's worth, the problem continues for me (no improvement) with the latest version of iOS, but my Halos are first-generation i110.
