Is there a chance of magsafe charger harming your Mac?
I'm really curious. I grew up around computers and I have seen many get destroyed by magnets.

There are no magnets in a charger. Any alternating magnetic radiation from the transformer coils will be so slight as not to affect anything.
Hi,
There's no chance of magnetic damage. MagSafe and MagSafe 2 have been around since 2006 and I've never heard of anything like that. The magnet is nowhere near the HDD (on those MBPs that have them), and I doubt it would be strong enough even if it were right on top of the HDD.
Thank you! this is the information I needed.
You're welcome. 🙂
