Watch back came off taking it off the charger. Pushed it back, but now its JUST a watch. No notifications, no vibrations

My Series 1 Watch, just over 2 months old, when taking it off the charger the back stayed on it. Now the watch is JUST a watch. No notifications, no vibrations just that.

iMac, iOS 6.1.4

Hi

Contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider to arrange for your watch to be serviced or replaced (under warranty, if eligible):

This happened to me as well. I sent the watch off for service through Apple only to be told "your product is ineligible for service. It shows signs of misuse or unauthorized modifications. Therefore we can’t complete your repair request, and we’re returning your product as is." To me, that is so absurd. Others on this forum have commented on this same problem and many have cited the glue heats up on the charger and the back comes apart. It's unfortunate that this is such an issue for so many. I'm going to now visit my Apple store in hopes they can at least be more accommodating. I hope you have better luck.
