Late 2015 Macbook Pro has dedicated graphic card?

Hi,

I was about to buy a late 2015 Macbook pro 15'' still offered on the Apple site instead of the new 2016 touchpad version (less pro in my opinion for professional video usage, with no ports, no SD slot, etc, no mag safe, etc.), however I notices that in the tech specs it's no longer specified if it still has a second dedicated graphic card. The site it simply states 'Intel Iris Pro Graphics'.

The dedicated card has it been taken out for some reasons of it's simply not mentionned? In this case I'd like to know how to find the proper tech specs on that particular model (sold as 'former' model before the touchbar line up).

thanks in advance

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), SSD disc

Hi) I have the same issue and thought the same in the beginning but if you will switch the processor from 2,2 to 2,5 or 2,8 it still shows:

  • 2.8GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 4.0GHz
  • 16GB 1600MHz memory
  • 1TB PCIe-based SSD
  • Intel Iris Pro Graphics
  • Two Thunderbolt 2 ports
  • Backlit Keyboard (British) & User’s Guide (English)

They do not provide the previous macbook pro with a dedicated graphics anymore ?
